Risks related to People
Risks Encountered:
PMs feign ignorance – There is immense lack of attitude as well as knowledge in understanding the processes. People holding responsible positions have very little inclination towards unlearning and relearning the ways of implementing the processes
- Lack of Leadership at PM Level
- Lack of Accountability at PM Level
Risk Mitigation Plan:
Communication from the Sr. Management, in clear terms, about the consequences of not implementing processes
Risks related to Training
Risks Encountered:
- Training is given at the time of induction but since nothing is implemented, the associates get a thermal shock.
- Lack of Domain Training
Risk Mitigation Plan:
Training from business side is required in India office. Technical training material required.
Risks related to Metrics
Risks Encountered:
- Lack of availability of real data. MBR can not be published if data is not captured.
- Not meeting the goals leading to cooking of data- Project data is back-calculated to meet the goals rather than going the proper way.
Risk Mitigation Plan:
- Real data to be provided/collected from the initiation of projects to find out where we actually stand.
- Objective of goal identification to be explained to the concerned
Risks related to Environment
Risks Encountered:
Wrong culture/propagation – People think it is a money game.
Risk Mitigation Plan:
People to be made aware of the rigorous SCAMPI assessment process.
